Loss done by Singham Returns and Bang Bang

Distributors lost Rs. 2 crores from Bang Bang and 1Cr from Singham Returns. As for bang bang producers, it depends how well can they do in more satellite deals and then the final fate will be decided. However loss is expected.

BOI will probably rate this movie super hit, but the figures are highly inflated. Bang Bang had a good 3-4 days in BO but 2nd week it was horrible.

Why is there always something wrong with the figures that come out for HR movies this is extremely weird

Isn't Bang Bang still running? 😕

Singham Returns was Rohit Shetty's weakest film since Golmaal Returns (by his own standards). So that was expected.

BB was no surprise. But SR is a surprise. I dont think it was an expensive movie.

BB didn't do well in single screens, may be thats why.

But majority of multiplexes distributors will be able to cover their investment.

and yes we believe u when u say 2nd week is a disappointment because 2nd week just started ..

we believe u when u see figures are inflated b BOI and still it will get a superhit verdict.. how is that even logical /

if u look at the difference, for BOI the figures are 118 cr ( hindi only ) and producers figures are 139 ( hindi + south ).. From south it earned approx 5 crs that makes Producers figures 134crs for hindi ( 16 cr difference which is usual for all the films )..

Let the film end its run and wait for the verdict .. its like self trolling when numerous posts on the collections are opened without any final say ..

and acc to BOI singha returns is a superhit .. so i don't think it has given any loss, Bang Bang hindi collections has definitely underperformed but still it has recovered the cost and is in the safe zone now.. It just needs to make ample profit to decide its verdict now...

Movie was released around 2nd oct and its 12th Oct today. So we are well into second week.

Moreover collections and distributors financials are two completely different things. If a movie is made for Rs. 10 and sold to distributor at Rs.12 and the movie makes Rs. 11 then distributor faces a loss of Rs.1 whereas the producer has made a profit of Rs.1.

^^^ this is not how it works. Just a simple example to demonstrate.
