I don't know anything about this serial, but I know SSR. This is so sweet, not a step down at all. This shows how humble he is. Good for him. Really nice.

George Clooney did it for ER, the show which made him famous. When he was a big shot actor, director, producer. He came when Julianna Marguiles who played his love interest left the show. He did not have to do it at all. But the fact that he came despite being so big to bring a TV on screen relationship full circle showed what kind of a person he is.

Anyone who thinks this is a step down is a fool.
