Imran Abbas used to be the heartthrob of Pakistan until Fawad Khan arrived. They both did a drama Akbari Asghari. I like this drama. There is also a reference of Bangladeshi 'royal family' in this drama. 😛 Fawad played supporting role to Imran Abbas but he actually overshadowed Imran in that drama. Fawad played a tapori type comic role in it with dark makeup since he is very pale. He was into the character unlike Imran Abbas who played a mullah type role with so much white makeup and lipstick! 😕
Imran Abbas got several offers from bollywood but he debuted with Bipasha Basu in a B grade horror flick Creature 3D. Now he is doing Muzaffar Ali's (Umrao Jaan's director) next film.
