Sylvester Stallone to attend Shankar 'I' Hindi Audio Launch

After Arnold Schwarzenegger, Jackie Chan has been roped to attend Telugu audio function of "I". Shankar made sure that the rich celebrity status helps the flick to promote in wide scale all over South India. Now, for North India, Shankar is coming up with Sylvester Stallone.

It seems that the Hindi audio launch of this flick will have Stallone as the chief guest. When Arnold came for Tamil audio launch, entire media in India came down to the South to cover the speech of this Hollywood hunk. The same is expected to happen for Jackie Chan.

For Sylvester Stallone, we can expect huge media coverage as this actor has got very good track record and Bollywood is over the entire North India. With this, entire India will get covered. We have to see what Shankar arranged for Chinese audio release of "I"!

Hollywood star Arnold Schwarzenegger was in Chennai last week for the Tamil audio launch of Shankar's 'I' starring Vikram and Amy Jackson in the lead. While there has been reports that Jackie Chan would be gracing the Telugu audio launch, the latest buzz is that the makers are hoping to rope in Hollywood action hero Sylvester Stallone to launch the Hindi version the audio.

Produced by Aascar Ravichandran under his Aascar Films banner, the film's music is composed by Oscar winner A R Rahman. The film has been in the making for almost two years and the Vikram starrer is set for a Diwali release in October. Aascar Ravichandran is planning for a grand audio launch for Hindi 'I' audio in Mumbai.

The teaser crossed 1 million views in just 12 hours of its release, making it the first indian film to do so, beating the record set by the teaser of the Bollywood film, Bang Bang! (2014), which crossed 1 million views in 13 hours. It reached 5 million views in less than a week after its release, becoming the only Tamil film to cross the mark till date.

Hollywood action star Arnold Schwarzenegger has thanked producer Aascar Ravichandran for his hospitality and making his Chennai visit "incredibly successful". He also praised the filmmaker's forthcoming Tamil romantic-thriller "I The Movie" as a "dynamic film".

Schwarzenegger visited Chennai earlier this month for the audio launch of Vikram-starrer "I".

"Thank you for everything you did to make my visit to Chennai such an incredible success," the star of "The Terminator" franchise wrote in his letter to Ravichandran.

"I was proud to be part of the launch of the soundtrack of 'I' and you and your brothers all deserve a lot of credit for producing not only such a dynamic film, but also for putting on one of the best events I've ever attended," he wrote.

He mentioned that he was "blown away" by their "hospitality".

"From the incredible hotel to the delicious food, the visit was perfect. But the icing on the cake was the event. I have been to the Oscars, and the Golden Globes, and every event you can imagine. Let me tell you something - they could all learn from how you stage a production," he wrote.

"The whole event flowed perfectly, and the energy there could have powered all of India. The bodybuilders were a fantastic touch and made everything organic. I couldn't help but take the stage after that performance, because I knew it was the perfect time," he added.

He also wrote that he would like to work with the producer "again in the future".

Directed by Shankar, "I" also stars Amy Jackson, Suresh Gopi and Upen Patel in important roles. It will release around Diwali.
