I really liked Tariq's character...he is the sort of hero's we should be showing in bollywood films. I liked how the director showed that all that glitters is not gold and that we should not be judging books by their covers, as evident in Ahmed and Tariq's characters.

Poppy that sherwani was blue na for the fake nikhaah, Gullu's outfit was white. His kurta was white.😆 I think you mean in the real nikkah? Koi baat na--he looked hot either way. 😳 I was so happy when he started taking off clothes, but no shirtess scene. Haye! Fitteh muh. 😆

@Czar: You know what though, I feel that KW has more screen presence than Sid though. They showed used him in some of the promotions. I wish the styling of the song was done def too. Like that part where's she is driving and he's sitting on the front of the moving car during Mannat was so funny--especially for a romantic song. But yeah there were tons of great light-hearted, comedic moments.

Yeah! I did-thoroughly enjoyed it! I didn't like A2(haven't watched the whole movie) but have found ARK cute since his VJing days(and then in Guzaarish)..he was definitely the highlight!(Pari was good too-she nailed the dialect)

I also liked the 2 aunties! The way both cities have been captured was nice. Specially Hyderabad:)

didn't like it, it was just an ok, below average. but pari is such a bomb actor. loved her. tho her and adi made odd pair, i liked them together. loved the title song, but rest of the songs were about ok. after bobby jasoos, hyderabad captured stunningly. i found many things messed up , be it script, direction (many scenes were not excuted well), screenplay. kinda bland, half baked.

but if you are a fan of pari and adi, yeah go ahead a check it out. don't expect too much tho.

Monday : #DaawatEIshq 2.35 cr

Daawat E Ishq held up pretty well on Monday though collections were low for both. Dawaat E Ishq grossed around 2 crore nett while Khoobsurat was around 1.50 crore nett. The business in four days is 15.50 crore nett for Daawat E Ishq and Khoobsurat is 11.75 crore nett .

Khoobsurat trended the better of the two on Monday as it dropped around 35% while the drop for Daawat E Ishq was 45%. Despite decent Monday figures both films have low overall figures due to the poor initials. the clash has hurt both films as if they were solo they were sure to gett better opening day figures.The business of Khoobsurat could catch up with Daawat E Ishq by the end of the week or beginning of week two.

Now it just remains to be seen which film comes out on top in lifetime figures. Going by the trend the business of Khoobsurat will catch up with Daawat E Ishq but it may be too late as the latter will have a 4-4.50 crore nett advantage in week one and it will be hard for Khoobsurat to make up all the shortfall in week two and thereafter.

Daawat E Ishq 4th day 1st Monday box office collection is 2.25 cr which takes the 4 days total collections to 15.75 cr. The first Monday business saw a drop of 40 % in business from Friday

It all boils down to week days business now but even if it holds off extremely well still it is extremely difficult for the movie to become a profitable venture for any one involved considering the theatrical business only. The movie needs to perform big time at the box office otherwise it will flop at the box office (because of the high costs attached to the film).

The movie has released in around 1600 screens and has been made on a budget of 25+ cr (inclusive of all).

Day Wise Box Office Collections of Daawat E Ishq

Friday :- 3.75 cr
Saturday :- 4.25 cr
Sunday :- 5.5 cr
Monday :- 2.25 cr

Total ( 4 days) :- 15.75 cr

watched the movie and absolutely loved it ❤️ cute, feel good movie with a simple story and great performances... Aditya has proved that he's not merely a good looker but a fab performer too 👍🏼 as a big fan of his I'm sooo happy 😃 sad that's it's not doing well 😭 but I'll be watching it in the cinemas again together with doing small scale promotions (to my friends) for the film 😛 who needs a Disney prince when there's Taru 😉 I LOVE YOU TARU 😳
