Shah Rukh Khans Manwa Laage fails to beat Salman Khans Jumme Ki

The newly released track Manwa Laage from the forthcoming SRK-Deepika Padukone starrer Happy New Yearhas got more than one million views on Youtube. The official video, which was released by T-Series has gathered 1, 709, 084 million views as of now. The song, which has been sung by Bollywood's celebrated singers, Shreya Ghoshal and Arijit Singh features Deepika Padukone and Shah Rukh Khan romancing one another.

While Salman Khan's Jumme Ki Raat received an overwhelming response from the viewers as it was the most downloaded song online' and garnered around 5 million in the next few days of its release, King Khan's Manwa Laage seems to have got an extremely thanda response from the viewers. Even though the two popular Khans of Bollywood have been catering to the same audience since a very long time, it is very evident that Salman Bhai has definitely got a huge fan following as compared to the so-called Badshah of Bollywood. The massive response that blockbuster hit Kick got proves that Sallu Bhai is the true Badshah of Bollywood.

The romantic number Manwa Laage from HNY has got nothing new to offer. Though the chemistry between SRK and Deepika is great, the song seems quite similar to Titli and Tera Main Rasta Chhodu Na from Chennai Express. The song also features Sonu Sood, Boman Iraan, Abhishek Bachchan and Vivaan Shah. Bollywood's popular singer-composer duo Vishal-Shekhar have composed this song and the lyrics have been penned down by Irshaad Kamil. Directed by Farah Khan, HNY will hit the movie screens on October 24.
