Maybe if he wasn't big B's son he would have more drive and worked harder and not taken anything for granted

NO..and I really pity abhi...coz of bachchan's tag he laid back and took every thing as granted..he is a lesson to STAR KIDS..

because now he is always judged by his father's standards which is why he is bashed and underrated

Abhi has a lot of great things about him. Before he was bitter he came across as humble, fun loving, bindaas chap. He had a great education, was articulate, well traveled and well rounded. He carries himself very well and elegantly both in Indian and western wear. Unlike the usual starkid who grew up rich but had the IQ and knowledge of a gnat, Abhi and Shweta were different. I always liked that about them. They were different in a good way.

If he had been in any other profession he would have had a great career IMO. Abhi is actually not bad, but mediocre in acting, definitely better than Uday and Tushar. I think he may have even got in on his merits. But when the members of your family are spectacular in acting, beauty, forging a path and so on, mediocre does not cut it. Makes you look terrible in comparison.

Two ways for non industry kids to get into Bollywood.

The ACTORS and the LOOKERS. Only a few have both.

If he was no ones son and went to casting calls. Probably not.

Case in point Arjun Rampal and Irfan Khan who started around the same time as Abhishek.

Arjun Rampal used his looks to get into Bollywood. Non industry kid. Abhishek does not have that...

Irfan Khan got into Bollywood because of his acting which overshadows his appearance. Non Industry kid. Abhishek does not have that strong acting ability either.

Another I would like to ad is Arjun Kapoor. Would not be in Bollywood either unless for his father.

Abhishek is a gud actor n i don't know y he is always compared to his father in acting n he seems to be a humble nice person y is it that every star son has to be better then his Dad if he isn't it then people just bash them
