Exactly! Now the 'one hit wonder' thing doesn't hold much weight either. Actors will get movies, if one doesn't work than their next one will click with the audience. Even if a movie is a dud, if the actors in it give a good performance, they'll be given a chance by someone. The opportunities to bounce back are immense.

Let's not talk in 'what if's' cuz possibilities can swing both ways. Seriously, why would you want to go that far with your assumptions? I personally don't even care about SRK, Aamir or Salman so there's no way that I would compare Aditya to them. He doesn't have to become like one of the Khans, there are other senior actors who aren't Khans and are still doing well for themselves. Plus, things don't work how they used to, in the past. Actors are no more idol figures whom people would worship. Deliver good performances and even with few flops here and there, you'll manage to stay in the game in long run. Reality!

I mean WHY is there even a post like this? he came in much before theVaruns and the Sids and Rajkumar Raos and SSR.And look at them, theyre there with their nth solo hero movies coming bang in the faceof the public and busy building up their brands. And Aditya is like...oh yeah, Aditya, whereis he...whats he doing..he is in danger of fading outSure, if the chips are down, he may come in one movie, made by UTV like Jackie Bhagnanicomes once a year in his producer dads film or Abhishek Bachchan comes in someonesmovie or Tushar comes in his Ekta Kapoors production but is THAT what his fans want?In every business you hv to strike while the iron is hot, he should be out there trying tohone up his skills, dancing, fighting, performing at award shows, PR appearances otherwisethe public and then the procucers will forget that he ever made a mark in a romantic film andsign one of the other 10,000 more ambitious and hardworking hero wannabes.

You do have to realise however, that just because Aditya actually entered movies before the Dhawan and the Malhotra and what have you, nooo way was he touted to be the "next best hot young thang". He didn't expose like an inch of his abs, he probably didn't even build them for the roles he had in Action Replay or Guzarish or London Dreams. He was sort of always the supporting actor, who sparked an interest within the audience.
He never got the kind of launch, or the kind of attention that the other debutants got. Karan literally did everything he could to make Varun and SIddharth look like the next best things in SOTY; Aditya defo didn't get that, and he wasn't even after that really.
He did one Aashiqui and he made head turns; before Aashiqui released, aside from the music, there was absolutely no hype about the cast, at least IMO. Of course they had to show them two in the promos, but there wasn't the same sort of "watch out for these kids", "prepare to feast your eyes on the youth" sorta propaganda that the other younger lot HAVE had.
I think what works in his favour is a some sort of mystery element; you may not leave the theatre being the biggest Aditya fan, but you will remember him somehow. At least, that's how it's worked with his previous movies, before Aashiqui 2, before he was the main hero.
I think that is an admirable and a very interesting quality, and if he can just use that to his advantage, he can well stay in Bollywood for as long as he likes!
