Both are great actress.

BUT Rani is more VERSATILE, she can pull off dramatic, comedy, glamorous, romantic, every kinda roles. Vidya is great, but with limited versatility. Like she sucked in light-hearted comedies (SKSE, Bobby Jasoos).

So my vote goes to Rani.

Rani is more versatile can do commercial and off beat roles with equal conviction. So I will go with Rani.

I think Rani can pull off any type of role...
Vidya is good but has some limitations...

And for the person saying Rani will win because of Mardaani's great reviews..I haven't been reading the reviews nor was I checking any topics on the film. Am sure others too are basing their votes on Rani's entire filmography not just one film which most didn't even see yet anyways.

I didn't say Rani will win because of Mardaani views.

Everytime an actress does a great job/female centric movie, we tend to choose her over others. It happened with Kangana a while back. I'm sure if this poll was made during Kahaani/TDP days, the results would have been different. A lot of people would say 'Rani who? She's over '. A while back Kangana was the flavour of the forum, she won almost every poll etc.

Having said that, I personally would say Rani is better among Vidya/Rani as she is more versatile as I've stated already.

That I agree with this forum has a lot of bandwagoners and praising ppl to the sky just because the female is doing heroine oriented film. I recently watched Queen after all the hype died down and I was like she wasn't even that good. The script was the hero of the film. Am not gonna lie I was also in that bandwagone of praising Kangana because I liked the fact that she finally had a success after a long time. And it was nice to see a female centric film doing well.

I agree if this poll was made during TDP/Kahaani days Vidya might have won as she was the flavor of the forum during that time. Now she's going through a low phase. But I was never really a huge fan of hers at that time or even now so I might have still picked Rani over her.
