Deepika is considered a different generation than Alia. Karan would not worry about DP overshadowing Alia. Ranveer is also considered to be ahead of Varun/Sid...plus came a few years before. ARK and Shraddha, on the other hand, are their direct contemporaries.

Shraddha is beautiful...gets films on her own, looks good with the youngsters, big hits. TERRIBLE actress, but that never mattered much in BW anyways.

ARK also has a film with Katrina...and probably a 3 film deal with YRF.

Deepika is ahead of ALia but still very much a threat...Alia was gonna do DP's role is Tamasha if not for the age maturity required for the role...DP was initiall considered for 2 states,which eventually went to Alia...Parineeti is the one who is always considered direct competition to Alia...as they are the ones always fighting for the same roles/movies...Shradha is hardly mentioned...Shradha gets films on her own unlike Alia?😆... What about her Mohit Suri connection then? Vishesh films are constantly backing her...She has a miniscule role in Haider and playing flower pot in Tiger Shroff movies..Alia is a household name after 2 states and working in movies of top directors and actors

Ranveer maybe ahead but he is still competition to Varun/Sid as they might be considered for the same roles Ranveer vying for in future...Case in point,Bhavesh was offered to RS after Imran rejected,but he already allotted dates for BM so VAM had to approach Sid...ARK isnt figuring anywhere near Sid or Varun in popularity charts...Every media article mentions Arjun,Varun,Sid and Sushant in the sought out after newbie list but ARK is nowhere...probably cos he didnt have releases...Sushant didnt have any,but he has more hype and buzz even without attending BW parties and events continuously...ARK's upcoming DEI has no hype and even his acting looks lackluster from the trailers and songs...Being a better actor than Sid/Varun is becoming debatable now...Fitoor is getting stalled consistently,...3 movie deal with YRF...well yet to see how that would work out in his favour...If he is going to get offered something along the lines of Bewakoofiyan,Gunday etc,its not going to be a big advantage...Sid and Varun has confirmed projects helmed by good directors

Bottom line being,ARK-Shradha might poss some level of competition to Varun,Sid and Alia as they all come under brackets of upcoming actors...But not big threat enough for Kjo to loose sleep over them ruining his students career
