Is Katrina underconfident?

I always used to wonder why's Katrina called a bad actress.She was good in MBKD and her first movie with Ranbir(forgot it's name).I thought she's stuck in that item gal image,the makers think she's good in item songs so let's give her roles which only require her dancing skills and of course showing her body. I thought Bollywood doesn't give her a chance to improve her acting skills but she was offered Gunday,YJHD and if the rumors are true then Bajirao Mastani too but she rejected all of them.OK maybe the bajirao mastani news might be false but she rejected YJHD which was a very good role and she would have proved herself a good actress if she would have worked very hard.Instead she chose Dhoom 3 where she was seen for not more than 15 minutes. It was an out and out Aamir khan film and even Abhishek bachhan made a mistake by doing that film.
So is Katrina under confident regarding acting?Does she herself wants to remain an item gal forever and doesn't want to improve her acting?

On the contrary she knows her limitations. Thank God for us! Otherwise she would have by now spoilt many a classic film like Barfi whose makers were too scared to cast someone more suitable till she kicked them in the rear. 👏

I think Kat knows what works for her..Imagine doing a Barfi and getting trashed by all and sundry..She'd rather do a Dhoom 3 & get accolades for Kamli 😆 Its good to know your limitations..Its one thing to aspire & do better and its quite another to make a fool outta yourself by doing roles outside your comfort zone..Vidhya realized that post Heyy Baby & stuck to substantial and unique roles..Kat realized that ages back & focused on her strength i.e roles like MBKD & Namastey London 😆 Off late, am not sure if she is slipping or things just din work out as per her plans..Imagine rejecting a YJHD for a 10 minute role in D3..But then again, i believe every other heroine would have chosen D3 over YJHD cos the former was always the bigger film 😆

I think she's like Kareena, they will only do commercial films that will guarantee them success...it worked in Katrina's case as she does the dancing and the skimpy outfits thing..but in Bebo's case, not so much 😕

Nah not under confident , just well aware of her drawbacks.
