Why are the new comers looking progressively worse?

Wasn't there a time in the late 90's early 2000 when

Aishwarya, Priyanka, Preity, bipasha, Kareena, Hrithik, Arjun, John, Shahid etc were starting out. Many more aswell. . Some real goodlooking people and they all came at once.

They just had movie star looks, well groomed, good bodies. Women were Femine, Men were masculine. carried themselves well in public.

Even the star kids where more attractive aswell.

Think of the lesser known actors Mahima chaudhary, Amrita Roa. Really attractive women. etc.

The newcomers aint ugly but They just don't look as good either. Something is lacking.

Deepika, Shraddha would fit in the group of yest a year. Maybe Sonakshi.

If Sidharth entered Bollywood back then he would have competition aswell.

Only reason why he's over hyped is because he does not have much competition compared to the other new male leads.

Now Bollywood is importing so it still shows they are looking for attractive leads. Katrina and Fawad.

So why are the new comers just getting more ordinary looking as time goes by.

Soon they will all be looking like Armaan Jain and Parineeti Chopra.

In the 90s there was Govinda

Today there is Varun Dhawan

In the 90s there was Ajay Devgan

Today there is Dhanush.

In the 90s there was Salman

Today there is Siddharth.

In the 90s there was SRK

Today there is Ranveer

In the 90s there was Sunil

Today there is Arjun Kapoor

In the 90s there was Aamir

Today there is Imran.

It's pretty much the same, some good lookers, some average.

What about the actresses. They are looking worse.

LOL don't compare Imran and aamir. As much as I like Imran offscreen and dislike aamir offscreen. But still they don't go together, Aamir was always a mind blowing actor and Imran suck in that department

Ranveer SRK don't go together either, Srk had a charm style attractiveness which ranveer lacks. And Srk was actually a good actor. There is not one single performance of ranveer which I liked. At least ranbir has barfi and rocket Singh.

Sid and Salman working styles are totally different. Salman is one kind. I don't think anyone can replace him. Sid is good though but Sallu is in another league

As far as the newcomers are concern. They just did 3 movies. Many of them can fade away. There is no guarantee that they will survive. So let's wait and watch

Lol.

When I put on a movie I look for a meaningful story and class acting.

I prefer Kai Po Che rather than Student Of The Year.

And whatever they all change to beautiful people onscreen with all that makeup and effects.

Bollywood hasn't even been doing that right lately either. The stories are getting less inventive, cliche and Repetative.

Most of the films that are getting hyped are quite poorly made with bad plots. At least ones breaking box office.

If bad acting they should at least look presentable.

Most of the new comers suck at acting anyway or they take similar roles. Like watching the same movie over and over and over again.

At least not on the same level as Hollywood.

Well let me take the examples you gave...

00s Aishwarya / Priyanka / Preity / Bipasha, Kareena,

10s Deepika / Sonam / Alia / Shraddha / Kriti / Sonakshi

Although Ash is the most beautiful out of the whole bunch, overall I think today's girls are prettier than a decade ago, but just marginally. I don't think it's really an "issue" to be honest though.
