Acting is obviously subjective but imho Kareena's a very strong performer. Every actor has had their share of bad films and where they went OTT. But you can't overlook their best works 😕

I think she totally owned Talaash. Gosh, one beautiful performance.

Also I've seen people slating her for Kurbaan but I think she was pretty damn good in it too.

This is absolutely heartening to read coming from a PC fan 👍🏼

People can call Kareena stupid,lazy,brash,obnoxious all they want.I hardly debate around such issues as its more or less true...though at times some reactions are kind of exaggerated...but thats alright cuz its a matter of individual perception...It only seems to affect me when someone calls her talentless and unsuccessful!..its like denying the truth for me.

At this point, i don even care if ppl called her talentless cos Kareena herself is hell bent on wasting her talent Its frustrating cos her fans just cannot argue to substantiate their point given how horrible her choices are I responded only because i felt opinions were being questioned..Otherwise, its almost like Kareena deserves all the flak for the kinda choices she keeps making..I wish she just stops giving interviews for a while & delivers that one performance which proves her fans were never wrong in calling her talented 😆 Its sad cos i firmly believe she is better than most actors out there but if i say it on here, it'l sound ridiculous cos she keeps doing trash after trash 😆

I can't blame anyone who wonders if she's even all that talented, especially considering the ratio of good performances to listless, could-care-less ones is like 1:17. It's getting to the point where her great roles are beginning to seem like flukes, they are that scarce.There's no point talking about how talented she is because we see no effort or drive from her onscreen. When it's all said and done, that's what matters.

She has become LAZY.

The likes of Priyanka, Vidya and especially Katrina would spend time to perfect their characters but Bebo thinks she's too good, and just turns up on set doing the bare minimum. She thinks she's Salman Khan. She is not.

I don't think Kareena is "jhooti" because she makes W*F statements which people notice in her interviews, she makes digs at other actresses which people notice in her interviews, they notice everything about her. I know she's insecure but now it's at the stage she doesn't really care...have you seen what kind of meaningless work she's doing? I think she's a very good actress who has wasted that talent on films that has done zilch for her.

SR for her is D3 for kat

It would make shit difference to her fading career..in fact it takes away the little credibility she had in her

Every one is calling SR an Ajay starrer..no one even mentioned bebo..such success are short lived..asin any one?

Where as look at Alia..she may not be in the biggest BB's but her presence in those movies have won her fans and popularity over night

^ koiza you can't compare Asin to Kareena. Just like you can't compare Katrina to Asin. Kareena and Katrina are huge stars...that little success does make a difference in their career. Yes Katrjna had no role in. D3..but some of you ppl act like only Kareena and Karina do flowerpot roles. What about Deepika in Race 2? PC in K3? I don't recall them getting this much backlash as Kareena is getting.

D3 might have no role for Katrina but the fact that it was a huge hit producers take notice. Same will happen for Kareena in SR.

I have read comments on PV that said even actress like Maduri and Sridevi did flowerpot roles as well.

Was I the only one who didn't believe Rohit or Kareena when they said she had a good role? Rohit was lying to her fans so they can watch the film.Even Saif and the director of AV said she had a good role..but nothing special about her role in that film.

I dont think there is anything wrong in playing flowerpot role for once..Every actress tends to do flowerpot role to get the commercial success.Even Sridevi and Madhuri have been flowerpots for many times.

And honestly their stardom would have been nothing or worse without those movies.These are commercial films which define your stardom.

Even Kajal Agarwal with hardly 5 minutes of her role in Singham gained so much from it.She was the most searched Google celebrity in 2012 and people started watching her south movies post the release of Singham.

A bit role in D3 is the reason why Katrina is still on top.

It's all about visibility and likeablity. It may not work for you, but you have no idea how many millions are enjoying it.

The only married actress after Kajol to give a blockbuster.

Look. Every actress has done them. But the difference is they do them when they are working their way up to the top to gain popularity. Once you reach the top like Kareena did in 2007, it just does not make sense to beg for these types of 15-minute roles. We can forgive newcomers like Sonakshi doing Dabangg or Asin in Ready, but we cannot forgive the reigning Queen of Bollywood running around trees making calls in the voice of her sister to Salman Khan (Kareena in Bodyguard) - it's just mega embarrassing for the fans. 😕

Sridevi and Madhuri may have done these in the early stages of their careers but once they had a few years of hits behind them they sought out strong challenging roles to suite their stature. Did we see Sridevi playing Lolita type characters post 1989's Chaalbaaz? No. Did we see Madhuri Dixit providing glamour quotient to her male co-stars post 1992's Beta? No.

It really is that simple.

I understand why Kareena is feeling insecure. She worked really hard 2000-2009 but then she felt like she had made her place and she could just relax and the best roles will fall into her lap. Unfortunately, girls less talented like Katrina caught up with her popularity and then surpassed her when she stopped going to the gym. And Vidya came almost out of the blue and stole everyone's thunder at the end of 2009 with Paa. Priyanka wisely maintained a good mix of both glamour and artistry. This is the exact game that Kareena should have played. Instead she chose to compete with the item girls. And sadly she failed.

It's not too late. She could turn things around, but I think this is her last chance. The next 2-3 films she signs will decide her fate.

Maybe it's wise to just accept reality and start a family. And I'm sure she will attempt a grand comeback.

^ lol why is her role embarrassing in Bodyguard? She was good..as a fan I enjoyed her in the film. I haven't heard any Kareena fan disliking her in Bodyguard..so if you didn't like her speak for yourself. Why is she doing 15 min roles? Because she wants to stay at the top. She wants commercial success as her last 2 films didn't do well. She has done Heroine and that didn't work for her. Now she's doing 15 min role in big commercial film to get a hit. Just like DP is doing HNY and PC has done Gunday and K3. Kat in D3.

This reaching the top makes no sense to me. You don't stop doing commercial films because your at the top..you keep doing them to stay at the top. ..you can't stay at the top forever..you have to do these type of roles to stay relevant.

Roles like Chameli and Omkara and Talaash and Heroine are not what made Kareena a superstar. It's hit films like K3g, Bodyguard and Ra.one that make her stay in the news and be part of top actresses.
