The star cast of the movie "Happy New Year" is slowly revealing their character names exclusively on Twitter. You can check out @juniorbachchan, @iamsrk, @TheVivaanShah, @SonuSood and @BomanIrani on Twitter to see that they have switched to their reel names on Twitter.
Shah Rukh Khan has changed his name to Charlie. Abhishek Bachchan has changed his name to Nandu. Sonu Sood has changed his name to Jag. Boman Irani has changed his name to Tammy. Vivaan Shah has changed his name to Rohan. These are in fact their character names in the Farah Khan directorial.
Not just that, Abhishek Bachchan took over to Twitter to announce it to the world.

"Happy New Year' which is already creating a lot of buzz, given the starry names associated with it, has also planned some really cool marketing strategies to generate more and more interest for the film.
While releasing the trailer on WhatsApp is a first for any Bollywood film, the Happy New Year team has provided special methods and opportunities for fans to get an autographed poster and the trailer with a special message from their favourite cast member after the trailer releases on digital platforms on August 14.
Shah Rukh Khan also tweeted about the unique innovation and soon #HNYTrailer started trending on the micro blogging site.
