Maybe I'm a minority here, but I don't like her. :/ But then again haven't seen Kick yet so will reserve my judgement till after.

No I dont think so. Just acting with Salman in one movie doesn't mean the actress is great /A lister. The movie had to be a hit because of Salman wouldn't matter if it was Jacqeline or anyone else . People liked her here because SK was there. If she does a movie with a B lister actor, nobody would go to watch the film just for her, where it wouldn't be the case with a A lister actress like Katrina, deepika.

DP started so young and she never had trouble getting big films despite flop phase. Jackie doesn't have that advantage. She needs to get big movies now and those have to work as well. Secondly, she needs to create her own identity. Hot and sexy image won't take her far 'cos Kat is miles ahead in popularity and Kriti is rising and fits in well opposite younger actors. I think Jackie can have a career similar to Bips at this point which is pretty good but not top.

Agree. But she doesn't have the talent of Sonakshi. And even after Lootera, she's struggling to get meaty roles though she has wanted a makeover. Salman overshadows everyone in his films. In recent years only Sona and Kat in ETT gained anything. I see Jackie going Asin way which wouldn't be bad at this stage of her career. After all, she got flowerpot roles with Sallu, Akshay, Ajay etc for 3-4 years.

That shows Kat's longevity as well. These films were done in a five year space btw(2006-11). She had many hits before and after that too. Thing is Jackie debuted 5 years ago and hardly got A lister status before Kick. I know you like her, but odds are against her to reach top 5 given the competition. The likes of PC, DP, Kat are going nowhere. Even Kareena who was written off got Salman film. Then there is young starlets like Alia, Parineeti who are getting films opposite, Ranveer, Sid, Arjun etc. Even Sona seems struggling due to competition now.

No ...she needs to do some more films to get that A lister tag..

DP comparison is way off 'cos no is offering Jackie Cocktail, YJHD, CE, RL kinda roles. I am not even a fan of DP. 😛

And actually, Kriti is the one starring opposite seniors and youngsters at the same time with Akshay and Sid.

Jacky is far more better than kat in giving expressions...but it is not the only thing to be successful...she neads to choose good scripts otherwise she would be another ASIN..

We"ll see. She needs to get good projects in next 2 years else others will be far ahead. Anushka, DP, Kat and PC got strong line ups.
