I liked Kick more than ETT and Sajid used Salman's potentials far more than Kabir . U can clearly see he was enjoying playing the character

Yaay finally saw the movie 🥳

Liked it! Not as much as Dabangg but at par with ETT !

Also I am of the opinion,that Salman's performance in Kick was much better than his ETT act...yes I agree with the above poster,that Salman definitely enjoyed playing Devil more...U can see he is having fun and it shows in every frame of Kick,..his portrayal of the larger than life character never looked forced or fake and that was a big plus...he was extremely confident and uninhibited.😃

I loved ETT but I am impressed more by kick trailer. I am sure I will like kick more than ETT. Will be watching kick today.

Many people told me that kick is salman best performance after tere naam and that means a lot so kick must be something good.

KICK will make it to 200 club and probably it will beat CE collections but beating dhoom 3 collections will be hard for any movie!

Why?

Because it's Brand. Yes dhoom 3 sucked as hell but still it's a popular franchise. Another reason why dhoom was a huge success was Katrina Kaif. Hate her or love her but she's the crowd puller. No one can match with her in that! Thirdly YRF backing, free run of a month.. And then Aamir khan

I'll be happiest if kick beats d3 but will it? Seems hard but I hope it happens because kick is a good movie much better than d3! I highly doubt that even Aamir Khan P.K will be able to beat that movie!

Rohit dished out BBS with Ajay and Raju Hirani give blockbuster munna bhai MBBS, SRK star power just added to CE sucess and Aamir star power added to 3 idiot.

Question is Can a movie cross 100 cr or become BB if they work with bad director.

Taalash didn't crossed 100 crs and Zoya is a decent director. So if Aamir is such a huge star why couldn't he make taalash cross 100 crs. JTHJ and Raone had Katrina Kaif and Kareena Kapoor. Both are A listers. Katrina is known to be a crowd puller. She brings money, JtHJ had YRF ph backing so why didn't it got BB verdict?

On the other hand Salman Khan Ready wasn't the best movie yet it became a BB jai ho sucked but it still crossed 100 crs

Dhoom 3 was meant to be a success. Put Salman Khan or Shahrukh Khan in that movie, it would had made as much money or even a bit more. Why? Because it was a Brand, popular franchise, had A Lister who's a crowd puller Katrina Kaif, YRF PH movie ect so these all factors contributed to the success along with Aamir Khan

Very true.

Branding and franchise is the total solution these days. Put SRK with Rohit Shetty + Deepika and give it a favorable release, it's a 200 crore grosser.

Put Aamir in D2 + Katrina and a Christmas release - we all saw what happened. It would be the same with SRK in it or Salman in it.

But for me, the major question is - where would a movie like Dabbang be without Salman? Aha! 😉

SRK has suffered from the same dogma Salman has, but to a greater extent. Salman's brute star power means everything works, even if it's shit. SRK has always needed a proper brand to work at the BO. No offense to anybody. Just look at his career record and compare it to Salman. Nvm, movies like JTHJ and Ra One suffered the same way Jai Ho did: the audience rejected it.

Talaash looked different from your genuine entertainers so that's one of the reasons why it didn't start with a bang. It was a serious noir movie and those movies rarely do well in the Indian BO. Add to it the supernatural element, I don't know why Indian audiences haven't been able to accept this type of a story. Talaash is one of my all time favorite movies. Loved it, but it never seemed like those BB type movies.

On the other hand, it's amazing that Ready had the best WOM of all movies from 2011. 😆 It was unbearable.

I loved ETT. My fav Salman movie of his BB run. People seem to hate it for some reason but I absolutely loved it. Watched it 4 times in cinemas alone. 😛

I'd probably say:

1. ETT

2. Dabbang

3. Kick

4. Bodyguard

Didn't like Ready. Hated Dabbang 2. As for Jai Ho, oh well, it just feels like a montage of scenes put together more than a movie.
