It's frustrating how Salman has become the King of 2nd Highest Grossing movies... Dabbang, Bodyguard, ETT, and now Kick it seems.

But the people he's working with - Sajid and Sohail types - aren't doing any favors and at the end, it's all on Salman to make it work, which he has been doing for a long time now.

U didn't read my line, i said to some bit... i don't agree with Salman fans like u who will trash Sohail or other directors, actress if Salman's films didn't turn out to be biggest. I will give u some examples:

Aamir Khan

1. Ghajini - A.R.Murgadoss - 114 Cr - At that time it was biggest of biggest. Now Same A.R.Murgadoss has again given a 111 Cr film hit with Akki, but it isn't biggest, it is marginal HIT, just on line.

2. 3 Idiots - Raju Hirani - His Munnabhai series was very well appreciated but they were never in biggest hit leagues, for which Aamir thought to work with him.

3. Dhoom 3 - Vijay K Acharya - His earlier film Tashan is a diasaster.

Now if we see same points which u take n trash all those ppl saying they let Salman down... in that comparison, Aamir Khan has worked with not so best, yet given 3 Biggest films which when released became No.1.

Shah Rukh Khan

1. Chennai Express - Rohit Shetty is not known for Good films, he is known for Masala brainless entertainer, a term given by media / critics / art film lovers... his biggest hit was 108 Cr Golmaal 3. SRK worked with him & gave 208 Cr Chennai Express. Rohit has series of hit films, but not of different genre or with other actors, mostly Ajay Devgn.

Srk trusted him, worked with him, gave his career's biggest film.

Moral of this long post is Salman Khan is equally responsible for all those 2nd biggest film as much as ppl he worked with, don't trash those ppl just to raise Salman. Salman knew each n every thing about trade / expectations.

Dare if any producer won't listen 2 him AT THIS Time of his career, Dare if Sajid would have said NO 2 Salman ke nahi EID pe nahi layenge... Salman could have put his foot n said Yes, we will land Kick on EID Day 1... but he didn't... so more than Sajid... it's SALMAN's fault that he will give now 2nd biggest hit.

Kick is doing well again on Wednesday

(6th Day) at box office as reports are

received from places. Film started

decently in Morning with occupancy of

around 40% registered specially in

multiplexes. After that film has picked up

well with each passing shows through the

day. Film registered occupancy of 50-55%

in Noon-Afternoon shows on average

across India. Right now as per latest film

is registering occupancy of around 60-

65% everywhere which is fantastic for 6th

day.

Film is registering very good occupancy of

65-70% in Delhi right now. Occupancy in Mumbai is also same with 65-70% which is

fantastic. Hyderabad is excellent again with latest occupancy is approx 85%+. Gurgaon

and Pune are two centers which occupancy is on lower side today. Gurgaon latest

occupancy is approx 35-40% which is still not that bad.

Coming to places like Kanpur, Lucknow and Bhopal whose business got affected during

month of Ramzan. We have received samples from there and those places are rocking

today Post-EID. Kanpur right now registering occupancy of 85-90%, Lucknow 90% and

Bhopal 85-90% which is just outstanding.

Overall Kick is doing extremely well today. Business of film today is better than Monday

(4th day). Plus film is getting benefit in Muslim dominated centers today, as audiences

are coming out in numbers. Though it is too early to make any predictions, still anyone

can easily estimate that Wednesday Collection will easily smash Monday figures and that

too should be by a significant way.

Kick has historic Tuesday collections, comparison with other Eid releases

July 30th, 2014.

Salman Khan's Kick has collected Rs 28.89 crore on its first Tuesday at the box office. The collections are record-breaking as the Eid holiday

happened to fall on the 5th day of its release.

Last year, Shahrukh Khan's Chennai Express opened on Eid and collected Rs 33.12 crore on its opening day. The year before, Salman's Ek Tha Tiger collected Rs 20.64 crore and

Bodyguard which also opened on Eid (2011) collected Rs 21.25 cr. Dabangg (2010) collected Rs 14.5 crore.

To sum it up, the 5th day business of Kick is double than Dabangg (2010), 35% more than the opening day of Bodyguard and 40% more than the Eid holiday of Ek Tha Tiger (6th

day after release).

The Eid holiday business of Kick is only lower than Chennai Express, because the Shahrukh Khan starrer opened on that day.

Eid Holiday in the last 5 years

Dabangg (2010) - 14.5 crore (first day)

Bodyguard (2011) - 21.25 crore (first day)

Ek Tha Tiger (2012) - 20.64 crore (Eid was on 6th day after release)

Chennai Express (2013) - 33.12 crore (first day)

Kick (2014) - 28.89 crore (5th day)
