I hope it doesn't. It's honestly the worst movie I have ever seen. It was just stupid. I don't know why and how Salman agreed to be apart of this crap. He's had some very good movies in the past but this was just... Baaad!

Kick wouldn't have beat D3 even if it released on Eid. D3 released on a normal day too. CE I have no doubt about. It was a holiday release which adds 25% to the net collections. KICK would've dominated it.

Pre-Eid period is overrated as it is. 20% of the Indian population is Muslim and half of those at best won't watch a film during Ramadan. Even if Kick lost 10% of its business that would only mean an extra 2.6 Cr. With all the extra screens it had over D3, it offsets the loss and makes it a equal playing ground. Moreover even areas like Punjab and Haryana which are non-Muslim, D3 collected much higher.

Kick will do great and finish right between CE and D3 in the 225 Cr range. It's done great and it's all thanks to Salman power but there's really no need for excuses. It was never going to touch D3.
