Why Salman Khan's KICK should be the first 300 crore film!

Here's why we feel Kick should be the first film to touch 300 crores. Spoiler alert, if you haven't watched the film, we suggest you read this article after watching. Even if you decide to read, we haven't revealed the climax or anything that would kill the suspense.

Kick = Don + Dhoom + Krrish + Being Human: The grey shades of his character and chase sequences of Don, the police-thief face-off in Dhoom, the mask that at times reminds you of Krrish and stunts and scale of Ek Tha tiger packed in with loads of heart is what defines this film.

Salman, the DEVIL: After a long time, Salman is seen enjoying every frame he is in. He looks way younger than his age, acts and performs as if he cares about Sajid Nadiadwala's debut as a director. Watch him dance to Saat Samundar' and you will be forced to whistle aloud. Also, watch out for the scenes between Salman and Randeep Hooda!

Reel to real life: Kick has Salman play Robin Hood for kids, a role which we have seen him excel in real life. A reel to real transformation blended with a great script and packed with loads of Salmanism. The emotional content in the film is so strong that several scenes in the second half will make you shed a tear of two. A journalist lady was seen weeping non-stop at the press screening yesterday! (article continued after the image below)

Nawazuddin Siddiqui, the Indian joker: Comparing Nawazuddin to Joker (the iconic character played by Heath Ledger) is foolishness, however in a commercial Salman Khan film, a villain has to stand out for being unique as well as entertaining. Nawazuddin essays a completely eccentric character perfectly. Just looking at him laugh is enough to entertain you and educate you about his twisted character. The character that he plays is out and out negative, yet makes you chuckle.. nothing like anything you've seen before.

Jacqueline's minute long solo: All it takes is a pint of beer for a fully covered up Jacqueline to transform into the sexiest leading lady of the year. She burns the silver screen with her sensuality. Her minute long act has to be the hottest dance sequence of 2014, comparable to Katrina's solo act in Jab Tak Hai Jaan (Ishq Shava) and Dhoom 3 (the sensual strip-teaser).

Best Salman film in the last 5 years: Kick has to be Salman's best film in the last 5 years. We'd go as far as to say, Kick is more entertaining than Dabangg (2010) and comparable to Wanted (2009). The last hour of the film takes it to another level!

The camaraderie between Sajid and Salman in real life is what escalates KICK into a fabulously entertaining film on screen. A well-made film that is meant to entertain you with loads of Salmanism.

Kick has already taken the nation by storm on its opening day, but will prove to be unstoppable after Eid. Could it go on to be the first 300 crore film? It sure can, it has the content and repeat value to entertain audience across the country. Go for it!

Fans have been going crazy after watching Kick

That Salman Khan enjoys a humongous fan following is a known fact. His turquoise bracelet, his dialogues and his dance moves have become hugely popular amongst the masses.

And the Dabangg Khan's recently released film, Kick is no different. We saw his legion of fans going crazy while watching the film, which also stars Jacqueline Fernandez as the female lead.

On one hand, huge number of people were waiting in a never-ending line to grab their tickets of Kick, while on the other, some fans even went on to put garland on the posters of the film right outside the theatres. That's not all. A crazy fan went so wild that he decorated his two-wheeler with Kick stickers. Then there were some, who were seen wearing the mask, which Salman wears in the film.

Clearly, Salman Khan has triggered a craze of sorts yet again. Here take a look at these pictures and tell us if you were also waiting in those huge lines or dancing along with your friends in the theatres while watching Kick.Subscribe to me on YouTube

Jacqueline Fernandez the next Katrina Kaif?

Jacqueline Fernandez the next Katrina Kaif?

The Sri Lankan babe is undoubtedly the hottest property in tinsel town at the moment courtesy her latest film Kick. While Jackie's filmi career has got the much-needed kick, we tell you why wethinks this Jacqueline is the next Katrina of Bollywood...

Jacqueline Fernandez and Katrina Kaif have never worked together and they maybe poles apart otherwise too. But what's fascinating is that their filmi journey, Whether it's sheer coincidence or not, we dunno but one is thing is pretty sure - Jacqueline Fernandez is the next Katrina Kaif and here's why (in detail)...

Foreign imports

While Katrina was born in Hong Kong and later moved to London with her family, Jacqueline hails from Sri Lanka. Currently, both these beauties are living in India and pursuing their acting career in Bollywood.

No shudh Hindi romance

We all know Ms Kaif has come a long way when it comes to speaking fluent Hindi. In fact, she still hasn't perfected the language and the case is same with Jackie. The Housefull 2 actress doesn't speak shudh Hindi but that hasn't stopped her from bagging big banner projects.

The Khan connection

Though Kat made her Bollywood debut with Boom, it was Salman Khan who launched the firang lass in real sense with 2005 hit Maine Pyaar Kyun Kiya? And the rest is history, right peeps? Coming to Sajid Khan's ex-girlfriend, the Sri Lankan beauty has been part of quite a few multi-starrers but it's her latest film Kick with Salman that has brought her right in the spotlight. At the moment, Jackie is talk of the town courtesy the Being Human superstar. Should we call this Dj vu?

Link-up with the superstar

Both Katrina and Jacqueline have been linked-up with Salman - the only difference is the Jai Hoactor dated his Ek The Tiger co-star for a long time and his association with Ms Fernandez has just started. In fact, recently on a reality show Khan introduced Jacqueline as JFK. Yes, that means Jacqueline Fernandez Khan. Now something is surely brewing between the Kick co-stars, hai na? He is extensively promoting the Murder 2 actress as well. Yaad hai, he did the same with Katrina during her struggling days?

Kick

Finally watched Kick. I'm angry at UTV for not airing the movie anywhere near my place, but fine! Whatever! I'm happy on seeing the movie!

First let's praise the actors:
  • Nawazzudin Siddiqui - I wanted to get into the movie somehow and kill this man that's how much I loathed his character! And I feel that's a great thing about Siddiqui. He can really make you feel whatever.
  • Randeep Hooda - This man is like gel who can mold into any role. I loved watching him as the serious, but humorous cop.
  • Saurabh Shukla - Special praises for this man and his role of Shaina's father. He was hilarious!
  • Mithun Chakravorthy - Absolutely awesome! That's all I can say. From his entry to emotional scenes, he was great.
  • Jacqueline Fernandez - She was stellar. She wasn't just an eye-candy in the movie. She had an important role. She was like a catalyst in many sequences.
  • Salman Khan - I LOVE YOU!!! I say that after every movie and I mean it as well. He was absolutely awesome! The best part was the way he switched from Devil to Devi Lal and back so easily. There was one scene where he asked Himanshu "Tumhe Devi Lal dikh raha hai yah Devil?" and the way his expressions changed in that one dialogue was awesome.
Songs - Each song was lovely and well placed. I'm not sure why people said that Nargis was stiff in her dancing. She wasn't stiff. She was good. Yes at some points her moves didn't match up to the fast beat, but she was good, though I still like Jacqueline's version better.

Action - AWESOME! Each sequence from the beginning to the end was absolutely awesome.

The beginning of the movie was so funny. I was holding my stomach laughing non-stop, but then as it slowly slipped into the Devil part, it became less funny and more action-oriented and suspenseful. I especially loved the sequences between Randeep Hooda and Salman Khan. The way they both acted you always thought there was an extra layer to it. The last scene between the two was the best because throughout the movie they had faced each other as enemies, but in that last scene they were on the same side without anyone else realizing it. And I loved that.

Overall a splendid movie!
