Well said. People love to hate on Sonam because she's a star kid..but she's much much much better actress than Nargis..an outsider. A model who made it into Bollywood because of her looks rather than her talent. Why don't ppl complain about her? Double standards much?

Don't have the link..I heard from someone else (a member) that Srk wanted DP in CE. I believe it too since Srk is fond of Deepika. But it could be wrong news too.

Well so was Deepika in her Limca Ad. The point is Salman backed Katrina BIG time after he got her a role in MPKK.

Yeah Deepika got CE only because of Rohit Shetty and Rohit even mentioned on KwK that Deepika was a big gossipy type on his sets

Yes, but I thought the whole point of this thread was that ...recommendations didn't act for the Alia. So similarly, Akki might have gotten PC films, but he didn't act for her. Did you stop to think that would someone like Alia ever even have to have to make a decision to sleep with someone for a role when compared to someone like PC?
