Point remains DP got the role without an audition. Sallu offered a lead role when she was in +2 or something. She had no trouble getting big offers throughout her career. Much like any star kid out there.

Well next you will say that Kareena struggled. Ike an outsider...or Katrina struggled like an outsider...allia struggled .ike an outsider... Lol...Deepika started as model. She was supermodel ( her own standing without a godfather) . Her hardwork in modeling world helped her get her first role. But then she did not sign a Yash raj or a Karan Johar movie or work with Aamir or a Salman.

Salman and Aamir worked with non-actresses but they haven't worked with Deepika yet. Why?

SLB is repaying his debt because Deepika supported him when No one else did. She worked with a then flop director, not an A-lister actor and no KHAN in the movie. So give her the credit she deserve.

There are many super models out there. They don't get a chance in low budget films. I don't care what she did with her modelling. I am talking about film opportunities and she bagged one opposite SRK without an audition. Tell me any "outsider" who achieved that? Anushka got selected from a ton of others who gave auditions and even got told she was not good looking enough to be BW star.

Well, Katrina is an outsider too. If you think she didn't have any struggle, ditto with DP. Kat made it own her as a model without Sallu. That counts for DP but not for Kat? Height of hypocrisy. 😆
