ev may did a very good business, but it was mainly due to its weekend only that generated a major chunk of its lifetime business in first 3 days.
after the weekend, the film that took thunderous start, instead of remaining strong, or even steady or even decent in most circuits... it crashed very very badly that only few films saw that sudden downward trend.
in most circuits it started felling everyday upto 70 to 85% from last day, and even the last weekend business was a mere 3.5 cr for 3 days, and in weekdays the situation is terrible when we talk about sustaining the business.
apart from a medium budgeted hskd there was and is no as such opposition either for ek villain, even then it wont cross 100 cr mark now while previously we heard about the talks of 150 cr + and even some suggested neat 200cr plus business. forget about 100+ crores, this film saw the biggest crashes among all movies released in 2014.
what u think r the reasons for such sudden demise and crash, that is way too huge for a film that was extremely praised, hyped and had an extra ordinary buzz everywhere just a few days ago.
