Apparently, Deepika expressed her wish to stay in a separate hotel as she wanted to maintain safe distance not with ex-beau Ranbir but his girlfriend Katrina Kaif.
We hear that the leggy lass wants to avoid run-in with Katrina as she often drops by on Ranbir's sets to meet him. In fact, Katrina is presently in Corsica at to celebrate her birthday with Ranbir.
Also Deepika, being a far -sighted girl chose to stay in a different hotel to avoid any awkward situation with Ranbir incase her current boyfriend Ranveer Singh drops in. Plus she also may be wanting privacy, keeping in mind how her stay with Ranveer in Spain was much written about everywhere.
Well, whatever may be the reason, we think this will give both the couples ample freedom from the 'ex-factor'.
