Varun is a better actor than Sid - Page 6

In SOTY varun was good and sid was meh..i did'nt like him.He might improve now but Varun is ofcourse better than him which i came to know from his first film itself.Did'nt watch his recent movies but i wonder for which film he kept that beard..i will defo watch that movie.He looks so good in it 😆

Sorry I have to disagree. I think Sid is the slightly stronger actor. In HSKD he couldn't even cry properly...I could not connect with him at all. Even the family sitting behind us couldn't hold their laughter when he was crying.


Sidd and Varun are still bachas in the industry. They have a long way to go. But I def prefer Sidd.

ok ur view..according to me the only movie i found varun better actor than sid was soty..for me Sid is better actor than varun in other two films..acting is not about how u act, it about how u act a particular character n sid potrayal of nikhil n gutu was better varun's humpty n seenu..n thing in which varun is better than sid is energy dancing and he entertains ofscreen..varun's energy is mistaken as better acting..

Well Varun is definitely a better actor than sid.
When I saw them 1st in that oafish flick SOTY 😆 I did
felt that Varun was naturally good nd displayed more shades,while
sid's character was one dimensional and bland.
Varun has played titular roles so far in all his movies(err..technically 😆 )
and always emerges as the best thing about his film be it a no brainer masala like
Main tera hero where there was nothing apart from VD's performance and his chemistry
with actresses. Even Humpty critics and ppl say that he and his chemistry with alia stole the show.
whereas in Sid's case Hasee toh phasee was a female oriented love story and mostly Parineeti's show,
In Villain again I liked Riteish's acting the most, and sat through the film bcoz of its fab music 😆

So the thing is I find Sid very stiff and hasn't carried a film entirely on his shoulders,
while Varun is an expressive,confident actor and a fab dancer he's entertaining off screen as well,
yeah a bit high on caffeine though 😆 and has a better range to offer!
