Disappearance act

Where have actors like Akshaye Khanna, Mahima Chaudhary, Amrita Rao, Raima Sen, Sanjay Suri, and Isha Koppikkar disappeared?

They seemed to have disappeared from BW.

At least other actors who had talent but couldn't make it big are still around- Jimmy Shergill, for example.

I'm specially surprised about Akshaye Khanna- the guy is so talented!

Yup, Akshaye wasn't so bad. The last I saw him was in Race and he was quite good in it.

don't worry, many among the newbies will disappear too.. 3-5 are maximum to stay in a generation... it doesn't matter how good they are, something doesn't work.

Yeah, it's just that many stay on and do smaller films- like Shreyas Talpade, Kunal Khemu, etc. But the people who I mentioned don't seem to be around.

Even Akshaye's brother, Rahul, is nowhere to be seen.

isha is happily married with a rich hubby
akshay is probably enjoying and getting new wigs done by his fathers money
raima sen was last seen celebrating her mother victory in election
sanjay suri is found on twitter, he have become a producer

amrita rao appears in cameo of some films and appearing at chindhi events.

What about Genelia D'Souza? She was good in JTYJN, but haven't seen her in any film lately. Has she quit films post marriage?

Yes, but even before that, I don't think she's been a part of any film. Well, other than a special appearance in Jao Ho.

The Khanna brothers are talented I want Akshaye and Rahul in films again. Vinod Khanna in one of his recent interviews told Akshaye is planning a comeback. I doubt he can get lead roles again but I wouldn't mind to watch him in offbeat movies or in negative characters. Fine actor he is.
