Why are people so into spoiling such classic novels? Honestly, I didn't like the movie they made as well. Novels are novels. Converting them into movies is always a bad idea unless they are sure that they get the appropriate cast and direction for it, which most of them fail to do so.
Alia needs time to brush up her acting skills before she can do such a role. About Varun, well no comments because we have never seen him in roles apart from comic ones so I'd reserve my comments for him until I see him in such a role.
