Katrina Kaif seems to have become the queen of delayed projects. In 2013 she had only one release Dhoom 3 which took nearly two years of her time, thanks to Aamir Khan's various commitments including Satyamev Jayate.
In 2014 again she will have only one release Bang Bang . The project has been delayed beyond the normal limits because of the leading man Hrithik Roshan's health and personal issues.
However the film's producers are keen to "anyhow" release Bang Bang in October 2014.
But before Katrina can breathe a sigh of relief there comes the news that a third project Jagga Jasoos is being delayed, again thanks to the leading man Ranbir Kapoor's other commitments.
Says a reliable source, "Jagga Jasoos is taking much longer than expected. It was planned as a one-schedule fun film. But then the dates begging to clash and overlap with Ranbir's other film Bombay Velvet. He begins shooting for Imtiaz Ali's Tamasha in July. Since Jagga Jasoos is Ranbir's co-production he's giving priority to his other projects."
Where exactly does that leave Katrina Kaif's career? She has repeatedly been a victim of her co-stars' over-committed schedules.
Says a concerned friend of the actress, "Katrina is unable to sign any new films until Bang Bang and then Jagga Jasoos is completed. And with Ranbir giving priority to Bombay Velvet and Tamasha, it is anybody's guess when Jagga Jasoos will be completed."
In the meanwhile Katrina will just have to wait, like an obedient soul-mate while the love of her life looks into other commitments.
