Holiday Is Biggest Grosser Of 2014

Holiday - A Soldier Is Never Off Duty grossed 10 crore nett approx in its third week making it the highest grossing film of the year till date. The film has now grossed 109 crore nett going past the 108 crore nett of Jai Ho.

The film may the end the first half of the year as the highest grossing film if Ek Villian remains lower and going to that level is a huge ask for Ek Villian.

The third week did see a drop in business of 65% as compared to the 55% drop in week two but that was mainly due the release of Humshakals. The film is likely to do an all India distributor share of around 57 crore with Mumbai topping at 20 crore plus.

Really?! I'm happy for Akshay cuz his recent movies were blah. I loved the Tamil version of this movie. Vijay was awesome in it and the story was good too

Congrats to Akki. Amazing achievement given normal opening it got . This film could have crossed 130 cr+ with better trailer and pre-release buzz.

READY was non-holiday, non-festival film released on 2400 screens, Akki with 3500 screens couldn't even come close to it... and Equally big star 🤣

Jai Ho is non-holiday/Festival release, a Semi-Hit Akki was chasing... uski utni hi aukaat hai ke lower scorers hi chase kar sake... woh khud hi film Rowdy Rathore / Housefull 2 nahi chase kar paaya 🤣

We are not the ones calling other actors in comparison to Salman, or even other khans. It is you guys who need Salman's lowest Scorer to chase n then celebrate.

We never denied the under performance of Jai Ho, if we do then talk.
