Very good interview, I totally agree with her acting cannot be taught opinion.

She sounds normal ,honest without being rude or a turn-off.

Atleast she's not talking about how she was raped in Ishaqzaade. 😆

I also think given a chance, Abhi can act. He has given Guru, Paa, Bluff Master, Yuva, some of really nice movies & he played all those characters well.

just over expectations ruined his chance. I wish he gets all those non-macho unconventional roles. may be he can chose some other parallel cinema than masala films.

EXACTLY. I've always found him to be a really talented actor & I don't know why people don't. He has done some very good ,well-etched & well acted roles like the ones you mentioned!!

He needs to stay away from Dhoom 3 type cinema & maybe do some good Bengali movies. I think he'll be well-received.

Am hoping for one, super movie that will resurrect B Jr's career & re-establish him as a good actor. 😳

I agree. He can surely acts. no 2nd thought. He was the only saving grace in MPKDH, and Kabhi Alvida na Kehna.

He was good in Dhoom but then Dhom2 & 3 has done more damage to him than good. he definitely needs to stay away from Dhoom series.

I liked his role in Kuch na Kaho. that movie was fun too. He should just focus on playing a more real man on screen because he is NOT macho man & in real life.. Men are not macho. they are normal looking males. He can play all these roles with conviction.

Abhishek took no risks. He was insecure. He rejected Lagaan, DCH, RDB. The latter two, simply because they were multi starters/ensemble.

Guru is no risk. He looks like a middle aged man from day one anyway given his bedhol frame.

And some blame his parents. Sorry.

Prithviraj Kapoor was successful yet Raj Kapoor made his own place. They were successful yet Shammi and Shashi made their place. Rishi Kapoor also managed to have a successful run and was no flop show due to overpowering image of legendary relatives. Shobhana Samarth was legend of her times yet daughter Nutan also succeeded and became a legend. Dharmendra is one of biggest stars and was still working and giving hits when his son Sunny Deol also came and succeeded both commercially and won 2 National awards, getting critical acclaim. Sunil Dutt and Nargis were great but Sanjay Dutt managed to have a good record.

Abhishek is weak. His voice modulation and dialogue delivery are poor. He has no screen presence. His expressions can be counted on fingers. In comic scenes he just tries to imitate his father. Looking constipated is no way to look intense. His eyes are blank, not expressive at all. He cannot dance. He looks unkempt and dishevelled.

One may not have 6 pack abs. But atleast look fit.

His acting is laboured. His way of speaking is also not effortless. Never seen him natural, fluid or at ease. He cannot even be compared to likes of Sanjeev Kumar so to take him as a serious non-starry actor.

There is a listless vibe about him. He can easily get "lost" in a crowd, and no one will notice him.

Looks like he has gained some sympathisers since he married Ash Rai!😆
