The king khan of Bollywood also known as the baa-dash has proved himself to be a real hero and man of values who has a great respect towards women.

Reportedly the hottest buzz on the social media and the news making to the bulletins of the actor's driver being accused in indulging in a ruthless act of raping a 23 year old maid in pretext of offering a job at the actor's place was shown doors by the actors by clearing all the outstanding dues and by cancelling the contract immediately.

The accused is been taken into custody by the Bandra police and will be under judicial custody.

The family of Charu Khandal (28), the animator working with Shah Rukh Khan's Red Chillies Entertainment who was paralysed in a hitand- run in 2012, doesn't want to pursue the case citing financial constraints.

Charu and her sister Ritu, who was also injured in the accident, returned to their hometown Jaipur last year, where their father Ashok Khandal holds a teaching job. A relative of the Khandals said the family is no longer in contact with the Mumbai Police, has no idea about the development in the case, and certainly doesn't expect justice for Charu.

On March 25, 2012, Charu was returning home in an auto-rickshaw with her sister and a friend after a party. She was celebrating her team's success after the movie RA.One bagged a national award for special effects. Their auto was hit by a speeding car that left those inside seriously injured. Such was the impact that the auto turned turtle.

The young animator suffered serious injuries to her head and spine. The accident took place just a month ahead of her engagement and left her paralysed. The man behind the wheels of the car, Manoj Kumar, was reportedly in an inebriated condition.

He was arrested for rash and negligent driving, but later released on bail. "We had to leave Mumbai and settle in Rajasthan as our family was here and we couldn't afford to live there. We don't even have any contact with the police and don't know what's happening in the case. Even charges have not been framed till now. What justice can we expect?" rued a relative.

In a vegetable state, Charu can just about move her neck and wrists. Her father had to take a loan of 12 lakh to clear her hospital bills. Two years on, Charu is in the same state while her family's financial condition has deteriorated.

"We have already spent so much on her treatment and this case is worsening things further. The accused has not even shown up since the accident. The police have anyway developed a weak case. Now what's the point in running around courts hoping to get justice?" asked the relative, who did not wish to be named.

She added, "The driver was drunk. But he was let off by the cops. They did not even get his blood samples." The police, on the other hand, said the family's absence will not affect the case, as they just have to depose once when the court summons them.

They, however, admitted that the chances of imprisonment were minimal. No money to fight the "The court will ask the accused to pay a fine to the victims. But if they want to settle it outside, they will have to move that application in the court. We have no powers to quash the FIR. We have ample evidence to prove the driver's mistake and we will see to it that he gets convicted," said inspector Baburao Mukerkar of Oshiwara police station.
