Was Kangana's Queen perf that good?

I recently watched Queen..and I didn't get what was all the hype about considering her performance. Don't get me wrong..I don't hate Kangana..I think she's a great actress but I don't think Queen is her best performance. I think the reason why she was hyped up so much was because Queen was a good film/script..and that it was a heroine oriented role that became a hit at the boxioffice. So basically..the film made her look good. She was much better in Fashion.

I didn't hate her perf..I liked it..but I don't think she was brilliant or anything. Sri in EV was much better IMO esp since there were a lot of similarities between these two characters.

Your thoughts?

Nope, it wasn't her best performance but it was the best performance this year so far.

I think Gangster was her best performance.

You are not the only one.

It might not be her best performance as an actress but she player her character to the T , making sure the script stood supreme. Something how Vidya played her part so well in Kahaani, yet it was the movie which overshadowed her performance.

It was a superlative performance, but not Kangana's individual best. I think the accolades were mostly due to the fact it is one of the best female performances this year and also because it took guts to take on such a female oriented script that has no love story or reliance on a man.

I think she gave it her best. I couldn't find any flaws per se.

But I think it will be her most memorable performance, she truly entertained.

She did give her best..but there were some scenes were she let me down. But she did get into the skin of her character..she gets plus plus point for that. I wasn't watching Kangana at all..I was watching the character.

I was disappointed to be honest, So much hype and hoopla about her performance and I didn't find THAT great !! Yeah it was a good performance but then that's it. Mostly I found it was "inspired" from Sridevi's EV, body language, voice modulation, even that hair style !!
Kangana was good in Queen but not that good :))

It was a good performance for sure but not the best of her. She could had done better as there is always space for improvement but still she gave a good performance. But her dialogue delivery is very shaky and bad and that takes away from her performances.

Sridevi is a legend. Her performance in EV was fantastic. I just watch sridevi EV, chandni, and Mr India but I can safely say that Sridevi is one of the best actresses we have.

Having said that kangana performance was over hype. But I get it that why it was. It's because Queen was a really good movie. The script was strong and it worked. But still kangana performed well but I can easily see another actress doing a better job than her
