as far as tamanna is concerned, how giving her 2 chances after her 7 year old flop debut is an exploitation. tamanna is no 5 year old kid, she is a mature sharp woman.as u mentioned tamanna is a big name in down south, so why cant we think that sajid gave her 2 films based on her down south popularity... just like actress naghma who used to do films like suhaag in mid 90s that she got mainly bcoz of her famous name in south.just like tamanna, naghma was also a strictly average actress but got herself established somehow in south.its not just sajid who gave her chances, but she is doing other directors movies too,and more then 2 films with akshay.. will that mean that everyone is exploiting her in bollywood.as far as toi blind item is concerned, i wont consider them more then some item songs which r thrown in these mediums to gain some quick attention ...nothing else... i wont take any accusation seriously until someone put legal charges, and the person in question got testifed in court and proven guilty.
Nagma was extremely fair and that could have helped her establish herself down South. But to give her credit though she is an average actress she has worked in all 4 South languages and I think Marathi and some other regional cinema too. Her talent may not be great, but I guess she has ambition enough and is impressive enough for a wide range of audiences. Her sister is Jyothika married to Surya. They both do Tamil Cinema primarily. Khushboo a child actress who is a flop in Hindi, was a big star in Tamil cinema. Point I am trying to make, just because someone does not do good in one industry for lack of opportunities does not mean they are not good.
Akki gives work to outsiders as he is sympathetic for no one big wanted to work with him. He was the first one to work with Kat when others were rejecting her I think.
As for exploitation, throughout the world and in history rich, powerful, ugly men have married/got together beautiful, young girls. It repulses me and I consider it exploitation. Not just Jackie and Tamannah and Sajid.
The blind thing I will of course discount because it is just a blind, but the whole issue of gate keepers in BW exploiting young women is not a story that can be dismissed and people are taken advantage of. I think Sajid takes advantage though I will not accuse him of molestation or something like that without proof, we shall agree to disagree on the exploitation
Tamannah is a very natural actress. One of her finest work is a Tamil movie called Kallori. If you want to make up your mind on how good she is or not, I recommend that film.
