Yeah I kind of agree.

Aish has done some phenomenal acting in certain movies, examples being Provoked, Raincoat, Choker bali, HDDCS, Devdas, etc. And like others pointed out, within those roles, she's always been the full package with dancing, singing, and even looks (yeah I think looks are an important part of being an actor, I'm shallow and I like seeing good looking people on screen lol).

But, she's also had some terrible movies where her acting has been absolutely cringe-worthy. Like Bride and Prejudice, Umrao Jaan, etc.

So yeah, she's a mediocre actress. But her good acting roles tend to overshadow her bad acting ones. Idk or maybe that's just me.

She doesnt know acting, looks good only in SLB movies.. It's the magic of SLB movies which makes us awe, the costumes which stuns us.. If even Mallika Sherawat were in Devdas or HDDCS, she would have created same magic..

Only praiseworthy role was Jodhabai.. But that's it.. Hate her to the core 👎🏼 Pheku !

As for acting, totally agree with those who said that she is cringeworthy in casual and girl next door kinda roles...Just 2 days back I finally got around to watching Robot( kept postponing it cos I don't like Rajnikanth's overacting)...Aishwarya totally made Rajnikanth pale in the overacting department...and her dialog delivery is one of her major shortcomings, which is probably why her south roles come across as less cringeworthy as her voice gets dubbed there...

LOVE her dancing and her overall persona...

Agree that she's a star not an actor. She seems to have it all, a successful modelling career, relatively good stint, marriage into Bolly royalty, the beauty of the Beauty and the Beast marriage, the world at her feet. She doesn't need a comeback. She's already raking in the moolah by the truckfuls.

I only liked her in JA like you said, and she owned the role. Maybe because she had very less dialogues? And she had to act royal and a bit RIGID throughout the film?🤔

Infact, I've never even found her that dreamy or beautiful also😳
