Dhoom 3 is releasing in Turkey this Friday, June 20th, to 50 screens nationwide.

For those who don't know, Dhoom 3 is releasing in Turkey as a result of a massive Twitter campaign by Aamir Khan fans in Turkey. During Dhoom 3 release in India, Turkish fans of Aamir made #ReleaseDhoom3inTurkey a worldwide trending topic on Twitter. Aamir Khan took notice and requested Yash Raj Films to release the film in Turkey. Isn't this an excellent example of the power of social media?

did dey watch aamir's previous films...?

if nt den aamir's repuattion is in danger...😳

jokes apart...though aamir's acting had gone for a toss in this film but an enjoyable film to watch in theatre..at least i enjoyed it totally with my friends

Well Aamir is popular in different countries post success of 3I. Many fans know him by name of Rancho. Too bad they won't find same quality in Dhoom 3.

I don't know whats more shocking, people in Turkey watching Hindi movies or Aamir Khan having these many fans to start a Twitter trend. 😆

The former is still believable.

Aamir gained a lot of fans after 3idiots in overseas, I know many Aamir fan on twitter that are from turkey.

Sad that it won't nowhere near good as 3idiots 😆, hopefully P.K is released in Turkey😃

Aamir Khans has probably more fans than Salman and SRK...just not the crazy fans who would sit and rant about him on social media😆

Aamir Khan maintains a very low profile...does one movie in an year...so the fans are also lying low...but they show up ...where it matters...at the movie theaters🤣

Truth is that often we have no idea of popularity of movies and people and what public likes.

I was shocked to read there is a temple dedicated to Disco dancer Mithun in Tokyo and he is so popular in Russia that once a Russian magazine declared him sexiest man alive!😲

But then BO depends on movies' quality. Fanaa flopped in Brazil despite being a YRF film with Aamir and Kajol.
