This director made his debut with a successful film but after that, he's churning out only failures. Despite the failures, he's had the good fortune to work with very good actors.
Now, he was to make a film with this corporate house and had convinced a popular leading man to sign on the dotted line. Sadly, this actor had delivered back-to-back failures and this director turned producer decided to replace him with another successful actor.
But the corporate house with whom he was to produce the film decided to go ahead with the same actor as they had made several successful films with him in the past and didn't want to wreak their relationship with this actor.
Now, it seems, these differences may have altogether buried the project. But don't miss the point - this director-turned-producer wanted to junk the actor for delivering duds but what about his own track record? Hmmm.

There was a time when this head honcho in a corporate house only wanted to work with senior actors as he felt they were a safe bet. He believed that regardless of the content of a film, it was the actor who brought success to a movie, provided they had ruled the big screen for years.
Now it seems he's done a back flip. After watching other filmmakers or corporate houses working with fresh faces and churning out successful films, he's been advising all his colleagues to stop chasing senior stars and focus on the younger actors. In fact, he's been saying that filmmakers should work only with young rising stars and concentrate on content.
Watch out, he may change his mind yet again.
