Saif is not even the second choice... if they can't approach/get Ranbir, these above mentioned makers try signing other newbies like SSR/Farhan; not Saif. I was surprised when Zoya & Reema cast Saif recently... as they have better options now.

I was surprised about Reema and Zoya too. Farhan must not be free for the film. The other newbies are also doing many other films.

Every actor needs to reinvent him/herself. People get bored of seeing an actor in same genre; the makers as well. Farhan & Saif are of same age (Saif is probably two years older), but we won't mind Farhan playing goofy guy in rom-coms/coming-of-age-movies. Because Farhan has just started his acting career.. & Saif looks too old.

Abhay is still young... But no one bothered watching his One by Two. We've already seen him doing that kind of movies. If Saqib Saleem had done that movie, people must have praised him; a few people would have gone to the theaters.
