Salman Khan sings for Kick, gives Jacqueline love Hangover

If there is a Kick, there will be Hangover. Leaked snapshots of a new song titled Hangover from Salman Khan's Eid release Kick have gone viral on the Internet in the last 24 hours or so, ahead of the song's official release on July 3.

Hangover is the second song of the film that will be released after Jumme Ki Raat, which too is fast gaining popularity. And the USP of the song is, our very own Salman has lend his voice for the song.

Hangover has been composed and sung by Meet Brothers Anjjan. The trio comprises musicians Harmeet Singh, Manmeet Singh and Anjjan Bhatacharya.

They have earlier created several Bollywood hits including Baby Doll in Ragini MMS 2 , the title song of Boss, and Pinky in Zanjeer.

While no video of Hangover is available anywhere online yet, going by the leaked pictures, it looks like it could be a peppy romantic number. Salman is seen getting cosy with his costar Jacqueline Fernandez in the shots.

Popular choreographer Ahmed Khan has given Salman and Jacqueline their dance moves for the song.

While Salman, sporting an earring, wears a bright red jacket over a regular tee, Jacqueline looks pretty in a cream- gold sleeveless dress.

Meanwhile, Jumme Ki Raat, the song that was released to kick- start the promotions for Kick last week, has already garnered over 50 lakh hits on YouTube. The dance number, featuring Salman and Jacqueline, has been sung by Mika and Palak Muchhal, and composed by Himesh Reshammiya.

Kick brings back Salman Khan to the big screen industry hopes Kick, a action thriller that marks bigwig producer Sajid Nadiadwala's directorial debut, will set some records.

However, we have now learnt that last year, on November 17, Sonu Nigam recorded Hangover with Shreya. Later, Sonu's portions were dubbed over by Salman, but Shreya's portions were retained.

Revealed a source close to the production, "Sajid had approached Sonu to sing the number. They didn't even discuss the remunerations as Sonu has sung several times in the past for Salman Khan's films. After the recording, Sajid messaged him saying that the track has turned out well and that he couldn't get the song out of his head. But, then, he was dropped and replaced by Salman."


The singer, it is learnt, wasn't even told about the development until he read about it in the papers. Confirming the same, Sonu told Mirror, "Yes, I had recorded this song last year. I wasn't told that it has been dropped. I read it in the papers that Salman had sung it. I wasn't even paid for it."

Though Sonu's displeasure is understandable, the producer's decision to cash in on Salman's star value has worked well for the track which is quickly climbing the charts with 2.5 lakh views in less than 24 hours since its release online on Tuesday.
