Priyanka Chopra attended the launch of Dilip Kumar's autobiography held in Mumbai on Monday.

The autobiography titled The Substance And The Shadow' is penned by author Udaytara Nayar and was eagerly awaited by the fans and even the B'town celebs.

The actress came to the event wearing a black and golden Sabyasachi sari.

Priyanka, who was shooting for Zoya Akhtar's Dil Dhadakne Do' (DDD), flew down from Barcelona to attend the event.

The main reason for the 31-year-old to leave the shoot midway was the announcement of a road in Andheri that will be named after her late father Dr. Ashok Chopra, on June 10, to mark his first death anniversary.

At the launch, Priyanka joined veteran actress Vyjantimala and Madhuri Dixit to light the lamp and open the event.

The Exotic' singer will soon join her DDD co-stars Farhan Akhtar, Ranveer Singh, Anushka Sharma and Anil Kapoor on-board aboard a cruise liner sailing through Europe to resume the shoot.

The actress, who was last seen in Gulaab Gang', is currently judging celebrity dance reality show Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa'.

The 49-year-old also took to the stage and recited a poem by Prasoon Joshi.

Aamir, who was last seen in 'Dhoom:3', will next be seen in Rajkumar Hirani's 'P.K.', which also features Anushka Sharma. The movie will release on December 18.
