Can SLB recreate Devdas in Bajirao Mastani?

Sanjay Leela Bhansali tried to recreate HDDCS in his last film Goliyoon ki Raasleela: Ram-Leela but failed miserably. It was not half as good as HDDCS. Now he wants to recreate Devdas in his latest film Bajirao Mastani. Do you think he will be able to do it with same casting as RL?
