If the budget is 115 crs, it has to earn around 170-180 crs in India to be tagged a HIT at boxoffice. Of course, most of the time producers and actors are never at loss due to tv rights, music and so on.
But those are not considered for boxoffice analysis.

I think it will cross 150 crs if the movie is good...Hrithik coming after years...
might cross 200 if it's extremely good

Excited! So its confirmed FDFS. Friday 2 pm show meaning I will be reviewing it at 5 PM NZ time meaning it will 9. 30 Am in India. 😉 Unless the movie releases on Thursdays in middle-east, like it happens many times, I will be the first member to review it. Kool. 😛

Now, off to watch Kapil show.. Hrithik and fun mood? Now, that's rare. He is the most camera shy superstar ever. When he is not acting that is.. He just can't get that shy monkey off his back.. in a way it's good to know his innocence is intact.

Can't wait. Small dialog promos are most welcomed during this time.. and glimpse of surprise,

Unlike tweeter and forums, where ppl are more bitter coz of their agendas, the film is carrying a very good buzz. 😊

Yup, it doesnt matter how and how much the producers got the money off the table (screens), BO verdict is directly propotional to Budget Vs India collection. The most important vriable in that is how much it's sold to distributors. IF MD or any biggie has recovered it's cost for the producer before hitting the cinemas, then they have a choice to sell it cheaper to distributors and thus having huge profit margin for all.. BUT in most cases, producers dont sell their big movies for cheaper rates..

And all the dealings are never transparent.. So, we will have to by the Golden rule. To me, MD has to do 100 Crs to get a verdict. 125 for break even. 150 For ave. 175 for hit, 200 for superhit and 250 for BB.

I think it will cross 200 mark. I always aim higher.

I hope no work load and road rage this time. But my reviews can be very extreme according to my expectations. It's all about how I liked the film.. just me.. and then I will worry about the junta. It can be a 4/5 film but my review sounds negative or could be a 3/5 film and positive/// its all about expectations. For this movie, I have lower expectations but I want to see the grand final 40 minutes.. something that's not been revealed... so there r expectations..

Nonetheless.. it's amazing that wifey is more excited than me.. so there is a positive influence already. 😆
