Well, wen it comes to watchng films, craze 4 all da 3 r almst same.may be aamir is at da top in dis regard .people knws dey r nt gnna b disapointed

Aamir is not bigger star than Shah Rukh or Salman. These two leagues ahead than him in fan following. These two still have strong cult following which exists irrespective of the BO status. Aamir may perhaps be called a better actor or better at leverage😆. But then Shah Rukh's forte is romance and Salman is style quotient, what is Aamir forte?🤔

Aamir who proclaims to be a thinking actor but his movies sadly don't prove that. What is really thoughtful about 3 Idiots- it was slapstick at best and how outrageous to show the vacuum cleaner delivery🤢 esp in a country where many people get influenced by the world of cinema. Munna Bhai series definitely is superior product by Hirani. What was so path breaking about Lagaan? Isnt " A Wednesday" or Oh My God" or "Queen" more thinking cinema?

Fandom is over-rated!!!

You can have all the fans in the world but not get a film an opening, like the Padmashree Amitabh Bachchan or Sallu himself, in the mid 2000's.

People might like you, but most won't go to the theatre just to see your face. The project as a whole has to appeal to the spending public.

And that's where Aamir Khan comes in, keep your fandom, AK will keep all the records. First to a 100 Cr, 200 Cr and Highest grosser.

I really can't say whether who is the biggest star among these three Khans, but one thing is for sure that Aamir is the least controversial actor among the three... 😃

Well forte implying his skill, strength and BO collections are not part of this. If that was a case, NO Aamir movie would have flopped😆😆. The BO collections will come and go ( also depend on inflation/ticket prices) but over the years people will only remember movies and stars they love and NOT how much the movie earned. Guru Dutt being a good eg. Aamir sadly does not add any uniqueness hence probably lack of a forte. The script is the King in his movies and hence it would still work with any other actor.

I don't even know where to start, that's how ridiculous this post is.

First, Aamir is the damn Guru Dutt of this generation. You can bet your pants off, that more Aamir films will stand the test of time than any other actor's in the last 20 yrs.

Secondly, it's kind of important to not have a 'forte' or not be type-casted as an actor. You think Salman likes playing the same damn role every time. Whenever he tries something different he falls flat. He's a prisoner of his own image and he hates it.

And, having the script as the King is a bad thing, right? 😆


P.S First the poster says Aamir won't stand the test of time, then he/she claims Aamir films only do well because of a good script. Won't a good script, stand the test of time? 😕
