Actually Mouni is a professional dancer too, she has branched out to acting post dancing. She is a trained classical dancer.

I don't think its fair to compare her with DD. She is way better than DD

Mouni has gone record about her dancing training.

Yes she is not fab in contemporary but very few are in league of shakti in contemporary. Shakti is right now a league of her own in her area of speciality

But while we are all going gaga over shakti and her contemporary skills, let me remind you of her not so good Indian classical dance moves in DID.

I might be bashed for not knowing a thing about dance here, but I feel, an Indian dance show should showcase "some"Indian classical dance.

Also stuff like contemporary, jazz dancers cannot do Indian is pure bollocks, considering how wonderfully Lauren did it last time..

Anyway, since Shakti already won a show in rival TV channel and is an acknowledged dancer herself, I doubt she would win JDJ, unless concept making team has a drastic revamp of members.

As it is, I am happy as long as both Shakti and Mouni come to top 4.

I am a big fan of mouni's grace and expressions and Indian classical movie.

Let us just hope, she won't do a Sweta Tiwary on us.

Those who think Chang and Baichung winning was random, they had the huge North East Factor.

and Baichung is popular.

not in the , dancing singing , internet doing world but in the average tv watching Indian world . he is somewhat of a living legend in Sikkim and other icon for other NE people.

When he was participating, people were joining in groups, to vote for him. He is not associated with glamour world, or cricket, but his popularity around 2010 was no less.

Vrushali is so graceful

I know when she will be choreo, she won't do any classical, considering how her partner will respond, but even if she does lavni or some desi thumka, the way her fingers move and her expressions

I would watch her over contestants like shakti and mouni I swear

I would want her and mouni to do some classical jugalbandi for fun

and Shakti and Mouni too.

Imagine shakti doing a flamenco and Mouni matching it with Kathak

Even if its for 10 min

and kruti and Vrushali giving side support

Now that kruti is here, if vrushali comes it will be sone pe suhaag

Also Rajitdas, I love love him, and he was so humble in Just Dance. If Ranveer comes on show, he is sure gonna dance with Rajit.

Ah Ranjit is from Just Dance-Thats where I saw him

Mouni Shakti are the trained dancers
Mouni is beautiful at classical
Shaktis forte is contemporary-she actually is of Chreographer level like Lauren
Sreesanths a good dancer he actually does dance well
Plus both Mouni Shakti have the best Chreographers

Puja apparently had learned dance too,shes not of Shaktis or Mounis standards but if Ranjit does her justice she will do well
Aashish,Sophie,Karan are decent dancers
Sophie and Aashish have Deepak Shampa-could do well too

Kritika isnt a very good dancer but Savio is a good choreographer,he can work wonders with her

Lil kid Akshats very cute good dancer too
Purab I dont know how good or bad he is
Sukhwinder seems the weakest link right now
And Kiku "palak" too-are they seriously going to make him dance like Palak?
Ugghhh

Last two seasons I didn't watch cos I knew who was gonna win anyway😆
This time there may actually be a tough fight

I hope there is good classical this time -pleassee
I love Indian Classical the most
Also considering the whole DKDM angle in sorta expecting a Shiva/Durga based dance from Both Mouni & Puja 😛
Lets see who gets there first

man, I wish Manish was here, he would pukka have cracked some lines on the whole Reincarnation angle

yeah, puja is from bong movie bg, she too has classical training.

but its not as extensive as mouni and definitely not like Shakti.

However, I do hope she would surprise us, no one is talking about her in the gap of shakti, mouni and kritika but she might just be the dark horse

BTW Glad kruti will be up on JDJ, she was in bg for a long time. Its usually like this.

I donno how much bhavna khanduja will do with sukhwinder, coz she knows only ballet and contemporary and he does not look like he knows much dancing

Funny, shan came to introduce talat aziz and participated next yr, Sukhi came to intro shaan and is now participating, Shakti and Neeti came to support Mukti. Shakti is this season, Neeti prolly will come next season

Now only if SRJ comes to support sati maiyya and ends up participating next season ,

That is one participant I would love to see and I would want best girl choreo to be paired with him , and the man can move

and if he comes, better not be sneha, it would be laurel hardy then

I am pissed off at colors walloh.

They always make savio the scapegoat.

Why KK? They could have given Pooja to him.

And that man is a genius, the way he made punit and all to dance in DID DKS.

BTW: we are all discussing shakti and mouni and pooja, but the real deal will be akshath and more than that his partner Vaishnavi

In second DKS; she was takkar ka with grown ups Now to I don't know

who will teach them? jai or Dharmesh

Both Mouni and Pooja are bengali and trained in Indian classical forms ( extensive or not is a diff issue)

Both have played essentially same character or diff incarnation of maha Shakti

and now both are participating with someone who is actually named Shakti

Where is Manish with his awesome punches on this awesome topic

He would have had us in splits over these connections

I took a break from both moderating & siggy making for studies
But if I get any good shots this time long maybe ill make

I love Savio hes such a great choreographer-but yeah he somehow always gets the not so good dancers-but to give him credit he makes them dance well too
Hes one guy who knows how to convert even a fault to an advantage-brilliant guy he is
Considering Kritikas popularity-who knows he could win this time too :D

Same quality Shampa & Deepak have too

What I love about JDJ is how much inluence a choreographer has here
Cos he/she not only choreographs but guides the celebs through the dance,they can either make it or break it

Ah yes lil Vaishnavi such a good dancer she can give bade bade competition :D
