Was SRK disappointed with response to KANK in Toronto?

Karan Johar was addressing the press conference at the Sutton Hotel, a few hours before the film had a gala red carpet reception at the TIFF, followed by a seminar on Making Of A Bollywood Blockbuster.

He was flanked by Amitabh Bachchan and Shah Rukh Khan.

The conference started promptly at 9.30 am and got over 45 minutes later as per the schedule. But there were just about 20 journalists, mostly from the India media -- even the Toronto Star sent an Indian reporter.

At the press screening on Thursday, KANK drew about 20 reporters and industry participants while in the theatre next door, the Chinese film My Post-Modern Aunt, drew over 100 people.

Shah Rukh seemed quite disappointed there were just one or two mainstream publications present at the press conference. He was heard asking the organisers why the journalists hadn't turned up.

aww yeah, it would have been nice if more reporters had been there, but I heard KANK had a huge response, many pple were at the gala (showing of the film) so i'm happy about that 😳

yea itz was a superhittttttttttttttttttt.....yayyyyyy...so happyyyy...itz was an awesomee movieee 😊

i saw on cnn-ibn...many people (most of them r shahrukh fans)were there when srk,amitabh bachchan and karan johar arrived at the toronto film festival

The same from me ..no matter about hits or flops we r always with u SRK 👏👏👏

I do'nt think Shahrukh was disappointed at the Canadian Press. I watched the Press Conference last night, he was answering all the questions very normally and easily. I think it is better for Bollywood to send the message across via Indian Press Reported even for foreighn Oress because they know both worlds better than Canadian or North American Reported.

I liked them much better in Panel Discussion with Moderator in the midst of 500 Audience. In the Press Conference there were only 20 people or so.
SRK and Amitabh Bachchan along with Karan Johar answered every question with so much ease and comfort. They looked really really godd in the LIVE DISCUSSION in front of theit fans.
