Industrywalla: Has Shuddhi Been Shelved Because of Ranveer Singh & Deepika Padukone?

Here's a question in from @Alenez24 on Twitter, "Has Shuddhi been shelved, have they finalised anyone? and are Deepika and Ranveer doing Bajirao Mastani? A confirmation would be nice!"

Industrywalla:Yes Shuddhi is on hold for now. There is no development on the project as Karan Johar lost out his lead pair ofRanveer Singh and Deepika Padukone toSanjay Leela Bhansali who is directing them in Bajirao Mastani. There is now MAJOR tension between Kjo and Bhansali ever since the two started wooing the Ram Leela couple for their respective films. It seems that Karan expected Deepika to choseShuddi since she delivered a huge hit withYeh Jawani Hai Deewani but Ranveer convinced her to take up Bhansali's film instead. Forget Game of Thrones, lets all play Game of Bollywood instead! :P
