I watched a trailer of Revolver Rani a few weeks ago and I didn't want to watch the movie at all.

I haven't watched Queen and probably might not watch it in future either. Only watched one Kangana movie thus far: Tanu Weds Manu. It was good.

Kangana is a really good actor but she lacks that X-factor that is required to be on top, say like Aishwarya or Rani, etc. or any other actor who was at top once in their career. I am not saying it's their PR or their charsima or the image they portray in the media but this something 'extra' that really stands them apart from the crowd.

So, I really don't think Kangana can be called the Queen of Bollywood. Look at Vidya, she is a good actor (a bit overrated at times) but she was never considered Queen of Bollywood like say Kajol or Aishwarya were.

Doing REVOLVER RANI at this stage in her career was not a good follow-up to QUEEN. Perhaps if the producer promoted the movie better, it would have been average at least. But, I think the theme drove audiences away. Anyway, she has UNGLI and Sujoy Ghosh's next. Let's see how those turn out. 😊

Wasn't Revolver Rani completed before Queen? I thought both movies were completed a few weeks apart but Queen released early on.

Revolver Rani wasn't promoted that well. I guess they were relying on word-of-mouth for film's success.

A trailer of a movie is one of the major deciding factors on whether someone would go watch a movie or skip it. Revolver Rani's trailer sucked, big time. All I saw was Kangana holding a gun and "shoo" (gun firing sound). The music, I didn't even hear anything about it.

What is Ungli about?

What is Ungli about?

Yes, I think Revolver Rani and Queen were shot at the same time. 😊 But, Queen had more universal appeal and Revolver Rani wasn't a concept which would drive people to the theatres. Also, the movie didn't have hit music whereas Queen did. Ungli is a social drama starring Emraan Hashmi and Sanjay Dutt. The story details haven't been leaked. It is directed by Rensil D' Silva, maker of Kurbaan. I think the movie will flop considering it is a delayed release.
