After the super-duper success of Chennai Express', filmmaker Rohit Shetty is back with his next outing, Singham 2' which is a sequel to the blockbuster Singham' starring Ajay Devgn as the male lead. Kareena Kapoor replaces Kajal Agarwal to play the female lead and the first look of the actress was revealed when Kareena stepped out in the open to shoot for the film in the crowded streets of Mahim in Mumbai.
Kareena goes traditional for the film and she donned a salwar kameez. She plays a Maharashtrian girl and said to be taking lesson of Marathi for the film. The actress also recently revealed that she is quite excited to play the role of a Maharashtrian girl for the first time. Writer-director Amole Gupte will be replacing baddie Prakash Raj in Singham 2'.
The shooting of the film begins and Kareena shot her first scene for the film. Ajay Degn will reprise the role of inspector Bajirao Singham Singham 2? will star Ajay Devgn and is co-produced by Devgn and Rohit Shetty.
The film is slated for August 15, 2015 release.
