That said, film was beyond my expectations. It was so simple, so real and so unassuming that I was drawn into it. This is my best film experience this year after queen and I think I liked it more than Queen. He was the perfect Krish for me. Alia has impressed me so much. I think the girl will go places because the amount of growth she has shown in three movies is amazing. She was spunky, mature and independent and she showed it beautifully. Some of the beginning scenes of hers reminded me of Kareena. That said, in some places, I felt like she is containing her smile or she might burst out giggling. Hats off to the costume designer because she has never looked that good. Ronit Roy has played this character so many times but every time his performance rocks. I didn't quite enjoy Amrita's performance neither the Alia's dad. Revathy was quite natural.
Songs were nicely played and I am so upset that Mast Magan was cut off in the middle. Direction was nice but the main drawback was the editing. Whoever was on the cutting table did a very choppy job. At the end, I would give 9/10 for this movie. It's been a long time since I enjoyed a love story. Yay!!

The business of the film in Mumbai is almost double of Delhi/UP which is rare for this type of multiplex film. The approx daily collections of the film are as follows.
