This movie was good because for a change they showed that it was not the spouse who drove them to cheat. They did not lack anything it was rani and sk who were the ones with the problems. They just could not commit and looked for problems when they did not exist. They were bitter and mad about things they should learn to live with. Plus you can also fall out of love with someone or never actually love the person you marry but just live with. I thought the movie was different.

i dont agree this was different film..karan made film just for sake of making a different film..and bringing such an end trying to be different...i wonder why karan is said to be good story teller ..but karan only gettin big mansions in ur story the ones where only QUEEN ELIZABETH can afford to live, manish malhotra clothes...i think he was coimpletely wrong in the wat he dressed up preity zinta's charater(u cant expect a NY fasion magzine editor wearing a sequined gown and dacing rock n roliye)...and some music..but dude characterization is important and he lacked that...why did rani and shahrukh were not happy with their respective partners..for you that was not important for explanation.
