I voted for madhuri in Anjaam, I simply loved her in that movie. She was mindblowing.

I think you forgot to include some great haunting performances like Kajol in Dushman, Aish in Provoked, Manisha in Agni Sakshi, Rani in Black and even preity in kya Kehna was quite good.

Priyanka for 7 Khoon Maaf not in the list😲

That's was one of her finer performances from all the roles she has played thus far.

I have watched only a few from the list, namely: Barfi, Anjaam, Zubeida (saw bits and pieces here and there), Chameli (again, bits and pieces here and there)

So from the ones I watched, I'll choose the following:

Huanting - Anjaam - Madhuri Dixit Nene

Memorable - Barfi - Priyanka Chopra

I was thinking about Anjaam and Barfi only yesterday but for different reasons. I always remember Anjaam for SRK and then Madhuri and Barfi, I was thinking who was better in it: Ranbir or Priyanka.

Priyanka, in my opinion, is somewhat underrated as an actor while others (I won't name any) are put on a pedestal as some great living icons. All the movies that I have watched of hers, I liked them and especially liked her performance. In fact, I watched 7 Khoon Maaf because of her only and the script and I have to say I wasn't disappointed though that movie scared me for a while (especially that song Darling. I LOVE that song but never could watch the video😕😆)

Yup anjaam was one haunting film... here I dont restrict the word haunting only to shoutings, violence, blood gory or miserable situations... even a beautiful and profound thing can haunt one ... like in CHAMELI the role opf KK got a happy ending and she was shown a strong person there, but the whole feel of the character was well thought and profound enough that u remember it years after watching.

Then how can u put anjaam on the list...it is a movie where i want to forget...Not to remember as memorable one😕But queen is a inspiring memorable one ...IMO people will vote for anjaam thinking the same..

I don't think other movies u mentioned were as haunted/scary/chills as anjaam..

One more movie ek haseena thi is also gives me chills...

None from the list..I would like to say Maduri but I watched Anjaam years ago can't even recall her performance. Karishma in Shakti was pretty intense don't think it was haunting.

I think PC in SKM should be up there instead of Barfi. She creeped the shit out of me in two scenes. She was haunting but not really that impactful because she was good in only two scenes.

Also Koko from her recent witch movie should be up there..couple of members on here said she was really scary.
