I think it's nice to see that loyalty still has some pull over selfish professional interest. Not that Ranveer and Deepika won't gain anything from BM, especially if it's a hit like RL, but I think it's admirable that they felt they owed SLB their participation. Would have been easier to ditch him with a 'been there, done that, KJO is a big producer' attitude but they didn't.

Ranveer will be fine. Dharma hasn't exactly helped him out in his career so far, and Karan wouldn't even have been interested in signing Ranveer if it wasn't for his recent successes. Which he managed without KJO. Not seeing how Karan is going to suddenly impact his career and do damage to him or Deepika. Besides, if Karan was so set on Ranveer, why were there rumours of Aamir being approached? That was a deliberate leak, dutifully published by Jitesh Pillai, aka Karan Johar's lackey. He was playing games till the end, any wonder RS took off for a sure thing?

But Masand's story isn't really adding up either. How is Shuddhi supposed to start in June, when RS would have been in the throes of shooting for DDD? In Europe? Excel has already come out and said RS has allotted the most dates of all the cast members in the film, wonder how he'd have been flying back and forth to shoot both films. A June start doesn't seem like it would have worked for Deepika either, Window Seat and Piku are both supposed to start in July. So she would have been juggling THREE demanding films? Even super organised DP can't manage that surely.

Some of the earlier articles had Shuddhi starting in November and finishing up in February, meaning 120 days of shooting. There were suggestions SLB was willing to wait for DP (and presumably RS) to finish Shuddhi and then start shooting BM in March. That timetable made sense for both DP and RS, who would have been done with DDD, Piku and WS respectively, and would have been why they signed up for both movies. Somewhere along the line, that changed, likely Shuddhi shooting being brought forward, complicating things tremendously for them both. Choosing BM might then just have simply boiled down to not just the SLB factor, but also not killing themselves doing double/triple shifts on all the other movies they'd committed to.

In any event, excited to see all three (RS/DP/PC) and SLB at the helm. I think it's going to be a majestic film.

If the role of kashi bai is going to priyanka then it will be a significant role in the movie and therefore will have good screen space. I don't see the role of kashi bai being ignored when it is so significant to the story of BM

That's a fanmade poster, not the actual one, there was confusion about shuddhi being based on immortals of meluha, but then kjo cleared those rumours and said that it isn't based on it, but they may make movies based on it after shuddhi.

The buzz is that shuddhi does have a reincarnation theme, but its not based on IOM.

She is like an antagonist

Promotions might be done around the two actors but I feel PC might ultimately steal thunder from Deepika because I have read her role and it's very strong... She is villain, and she is good in such roles...

Also why will PC accept a small role then...

Kjo n slnb rivalry started during ramleela . Bebo walked off from ramleela just few days before , ramleela begun to work in kjo romcom , thrre are chances kjo might have brainwashed her. And deepika gave node with one meeting and won slbs heart . I wonder dint she had any other movie that time and was jobless and sitting at home . 😆. Or its difficult for any actress to accommodate movie in her schedule last min .. well lets move on.

Post 2 years . Same situation again , slb wants to make movie with his knight in shining armour , deepika and ranveer in his dream project , baji rao mastani. And kjo wanted to cast ramleela jodi again for his 200 crore ambitious project shuddhi. Very tempting offer deepika couldnt refuse and so couldnt rranveer . Deepika was even willing to wslk off from mastani for shuddhi. Slb decided to be strict this time . Fine she wants to go , let her go , we will make it with her arch rival katrina. Here even ranveer decided to stick to slb , ( ranveer looks loyal guy ) . Deepika had nowere to go . Either she could take up suddhi and see onevyear full media drama of Linking ranveer to katrina. Tagging her as in secure . Or she could jump back to slb wagon . Now the act of karma . Today kjo is in same situation , shuddhi is ready to role with no actors . Same like wht was happening to ramleela 2 years back . Lets see how kjo takes the revange.

PC is Kashi bai!

The real overdose is Ranveer and Priyanka again. Ramleela item song, Gunday, Zoya's film and Bajirao in a span of 2 years. Its too much of PC and Ranveer.
